Baggage Transfer
A luggage transfer service covering
the Isle of Arran. We uplift and deliver your luggage directly to all
your accommodation stops throughout your walk. Luggage should be
available for collection at 9.15am and it will be delivered to your
next stop by 4.30pm at the latest.
We offer this service to walkers travelling in an anti-clockwise direction around the Island.
Please give the date as well as the pick up and drop off each day of your walk,
including the last day drop off.

due to the unpredictable nature of the ferry service from Brodick to Ardrossan and no left luggage facility at Brodick Pier, we STRONGLY ADVISE an overnight stay in Brodick on the evening before you are due to begin your walk. |

Baggage
transfers is £65 per person per bag,
for up to 5 luggage transfers;
£72 for 6 luggage transfers;
£30 Single person supplement;
5% discount for parties of more than 4

PLEASE NOTE TARIFF IS STRICTLY PER PERSON, NO DOUBLING UP 1 BAG BETWEEN 2
One item of luggage per person not exceeding 18kg.
No bag will be uplifted over this weight for Health & Safety reasons.
Spare luggage not needed on the walk can be safely stored at £4 per bag per day.

Brodick first overnight accommodation Dunvegan GH, alternative Auchrannie Resort/ Douglas Hotel.
Day/Stage 1 Brodick to Sannox - accommodation Corrie Hotel.
Day/Stage 2 Sannox to Lochranza - accommodation Lochranza Hotel, alternative Lochranza Youth Hostel.
Day/Stage 3 Lochranza to Machrie Golf Club Coffee Stop - accommodation Laighbent B & B, alternative Kinloch Hotel.
Please note Laighbent B & B for a small fee will pick up and drop off to and from Machrie and also from Lagg
Day/Stage 4 Machrie to Lagg - accommodation Lagg Hotel. However Lagg Hotel will not take 1 night bookings hence see above Laighbent pick up and drop off service. Alternatively use the Stagecoach bus service back to Blackwaterfoot. There is also accommodation at Kilmory Haven Bunkhouse 500 m from Lagg Hotel.
Day/Stage 5 Lagg to Whiting Bay - accommodation Burlington Hotel, alternatively walk on or use return bus service to Lamlash - accommodation Glenisle Hotel or Lamlash Bay Hotel.
Day/Stage 6 Whiting Bay to Brodick - accommodation Dunvegan GH, alternative Auchrannie Hotel, Douglas Hotel.
Shorter Itinerary over 5 days instead of 6 and not spending 2 nights in Blackwaterfoot: As above for stages 1 and 2 and then walk from Lochranza all the way to Blackwaterfoot on Day/ Stage 3 and on Day/Stage 4 from Blackwaterfoot to Kildonan - accommodation The Kirk Kildonan or Kildonan Campsite pods. Finally Kildonan to Brodick on the final day.
